If possible, we also rent the individual apartments out to one person for one night indefinite days to customized conditions and individuale arrival and departure.
Overview
Five minutes on foot from the village centre, the Schwalbennest/Moos chalets are located close to the edge of the forest and offer a sunny and magnificent view of the mountains. A meadow surrounds both chalets.
The leisure centre, the cable car to the Hannigalp, Robi’s playground, Grächen’s famous irrigation channels and trails in the summer and winter time are all very close (2 to 5 minutes on foot). There is a great slope to the village. Opposite the station a heated ski room is reserved for you.
We belong to the group of bike/bicycle apartments and are equipped accordingly.
You can find the chalets on the map in the brochure Grächen Tourismus www.graechen.ch (square K2, numbers 201/202 as well on the map on our website www.schwalbennest.ch square H2). You can access the chalets by car and park it right outside.
The Schwalbennest/Moos chalets have 3 apartments (18 beds to 22 in total with extra beds). The apartments are continually redecorated and refurnished. One of the apartments is in the Moos chalet, 50 metres below the main house Schwalbennest chalet and where we live with our family. All apartments are very well suited for families with kids, young couples and elderly people. They are all smoke free and offer a cosy and quiet atmosphere for a relaxing holiday.
Child-fiendly / Family-friendly
For small children in our family-friendly Schwalbennest/Moos chalets we offer for at no extra price:
- Cots (up to 2 years)
- Savety barriers for big children bed
- Blanket baby ZEWI-Fix
- Chairs TripTrap
- Sledges, Bob etc.
- A box with 20 classic games and more than 100 playing possibilities
- Also a box with different toys (children’s books, Lego, cars etc.).
- And always the current game of the year. Let yourself be surprised...?
The in-house small playground at the Moos chalet can be shared.
Pets
In Grächen small animals are still kept: goats, sheep, cows ect. Pets you bring yourself are allowed, and the charge is CHF 70 Correponding Roby-Dogs can be found near the house as well as exercise facilities in the area. If necessary we provide small bags. Moreover we recommend the Merlin SPA in St. Niklaus, where dogs and cats feel good.
Additional services
As needed and agreed to the in-house laundry at the Moos Chalet facilities are shared (including wahsing powder). A small fee is required.
There is also a portable charcoal grill for outdoor available. Likewise, on request a table Raclette/Grill stone oven for indoors as well as a toaster. Alle free of charge.
For the winter guests included in the price the heated ski room opposite the station Hannigalp in the village. In addition, the whole year the subscription to the free use of the services of the sport centre. For more information see www.sportzentrumgraechen.ch
Bike/bicycle apartment
As a bike-apartment you have a separate storage room available a cleaning area with material a rental and repair service and bike documents with brochures. Guided tours ca be organized on request. Also in the winter.
Service included
Included in the price are electricity, heating (no underfloor heating) and water as well as the parking place. Bed linen, kitchen towels, bath and tea towels will be provided and are included in the price. Weekly change of toilet linen.
Visitor's tax
Visitors’ taxes will be calculated separately per day and person:
- Children up to the age of 6 go free
- Between 6 and 16 CHF 1.90 per day
- Adults as of the age of 16 CHF 3.80 per day
If the earlier departur is after 12 a.m. the taxes are still charged.
Cancellation insurance
A cancellation insurance is obligatory for us! In case you do not have one which covers an epidemic/pandemic/quarantine due to the still exceptional situation of Covid 19, you might conclude directly about us (10% of the rent for all participants).
Arrival by public transport
Guests travelling by public transport will be collected from the bus stop in Grächen on request.
